Basic Grant Writing Workshop

This workshop is for small groups wanting instruction on the elements of a basic grant proposal. Participants will learn about grant sources and giving trends as well.

Google Chrome… Beyond the Browser

This workshop discusses the Chrome website including Google Drive, Docs, Calendar & Classroom. Also explains Gmail, extensions, gaming, and the benefit of offline apps. We’ll share information on hardware such as Chrome Cast & Chromebooks and we’ll show you how to share your content on other Android devices.

Basic Computer Skills

This workshop is for beginning computer users and includes using a mouse, basic computer vocabulary, keyboard and specialty keys, customizing settings and backgrounds, input and output ports, file and folder organization, Windows basics. Focuses on Windows 10 but not limited to.

Basic Internet & E-Mail

Basic email functions including: sending, forwarding, and replying. Plus, an overview of Triangle’s Webmail service. Basic Internet covers: addresses, browsers and search engines, and more!

Bring Your Gadgets

Attendees are encouraged to bring their gadgets (including tablets, smartphones or other devices) or learn from our Tech Shop Showcase devices. Our expert staff will answer your questions and provide personal assistance to help you make the most of your technology.

Internet Security & File Protection

Discussion on viruses and anti viruses, spyware, ransomware, Windows system updates, cleaning and defragging, passwords, online security, online shopping, file management and backups.

Social Media for Small Business

Learn all about social media and how it can help your business. Triangle experts will explore different social media platforms, tips, tricks and best practices. Learn how to advertise on social media and more.

Web Building using Templates

This workshop is for small groups (5 or less) and individuals with good computer skills. Participants will utilize ready-made web design templates to create a simple website using a free online service.
