Triangle Communications offers 40 $1,000 scholarships; 37 are available to graduating high school seniors and three are available to continuing undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited college, university or vo-tech school. To be eligible, applicant must be a subscriber or a dependent of a subscriber who receives landline, broadband or wireless service from Triangle. Eligible applicants must be pursuing their first degree or certificate and must not have been a recipient of a Triangle scholarship in the past.
The individual applicants will be rated according to the following criteria:
1.) Applicant must receive landline, broadband or wireless service from TTC or its subsidiary at their home address
2.) Academics including GPA of 2.5 or higher and national test scores (ACT or SAT)
3.) Community & School Activities and Leadership
4.) Volunteer Service & Employment
5.) Personal Statement
6.) Third Party E-Value-Ation *online form must be completed by an unrelated third party. Forward the form below to your evaluator.
TTC will notify the scholarship winners by May 1st. Payments will be made to winners upon completion of the first school term following verification of the student’s grade report at the accredited college, university, or vo-tech school and confirmation that the students have maintained a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Students must submit a copy of their first school term’s grade report to Triangle.
